Psalm 33-35 From prayer to praise

Psalm 33
v1-3  The call to praise
v4-19  Reasons for praise:

The word of the Lord is right & true
He is faithful in all he does
He loves righteousness & justice
The earth is full of his unfailing love
He made the heavens by his word
His plans & purposes stand forever
He forms the hearts of all & considers all they do
He is our help and shield

Only God can save people - no great army.  Therefore, we who trust in Him are blessed.


Psalm 34

Those who look to God are radiant
Those who take refuge in Him are blessed
Those who fear Him lack nothing
The Lord is close those who are broken hearted
The Lord redeems His servants

Psalm 35

David is a man earnestly after God - his cry is that God would meet him where he is and answer his cries, his prayers.
